This project consisted of widening one of the busiest intersections in San Joaquin County and 2 of the busiest streets in the City of Stockton. The proposed improvements included approximately 4 miles of road widening from 4 lanes to 8 lanes, removal and construction of concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, commercial driveways and handicap ramps, precast concrete decorative soundwalls, storm drain system, water and sewer services, street lighting and deep lift asphalt paving, asphalt overlay and microsurfacing, and 7 intersections were completely updated with new signals and street lighting, interconnecting, and stamped and colored treated asphalt pavement.
