JERRY SKELLENGER

Senior Inspector

Mr. Skellenger has 13 years of experience as a construction inspector on infrastructure projects, in addition to his 30 years as a contractor. The projects that he has worked on as an inspector have included the construction of highways, dams, bridges, demolition of bridges, landfills, water transmission pipelines, sanitary and storm sewers, water treatment facilities, extensive drainage systems, and railroad work.   Mr. Skellenger is a veteran inspector that has an excellent understanding of the construction process and standard industry practice.  He is well versed in reading and interpreting plans and specifications on a variety of work.  He is very insightful, self motivated, and well spoken, and keeps excellent job records and documentation.  He is also able to affectively communicate with contractors, owners, designers, utility companies, oversight agencies and the public.  Mr. Skellenger is respected in the industry as a fair but firm inspector, who is not afraid of stepping in and informing the contractor when something is being done improperly or unsafely.  However, it is his ability to work well with others, foresee issues and facilitate the work that makes him a true asset on any infrastructure construction project.
