Construction improvements consisted of new traffic signal poles and foundations, LED streetlights, removal and replacement of existing curb, gutter, sidewalk and sidewalk ADA ramp improvements, removal of existing median, placing slurry seal, installation of new detector loops, handholes, conductors, conduit, pull boxes, thermoplastic striping and markings. Construction Administrative duties included documenting pre-construction conditions with photographs setting up project files and manage all project correspondence in VPM, chairing meetings, preparing progress payments including bid item quantity back up, RFI’s, submittal review and coordination, change orders, review Baseline and Monthly schedule updates, Weekly Statement of Working Days, and Monthly Budget Summary documenting over/under bid items. Inspection duties including preparing daily reports documenting manpower and equipment and work performed, measuring and tracking quantities, monitoring of traffic control coordinating with the contractor to notify residents, ensure work was performed in accordance with the plans and specifications including County Standard Specifications, and coordinate material sampling and testing.
