SAI provided private development inspection services on a number of residential subdivisions for the City of Rancho Cordova.  Inspection was performed on multiple projects concurrently.  The inspector worked with the developers and the prime contractors to assure compliance with the approved development plans, City and County standards, traffic control plans, approved submittals, and various encroachment and regulatory agency requirements, including adherence to Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP) plans.  The work involved all areas of public infrastructure, including: mass grading, subgrade, utility installation including water, sewer, storm drain, swales and specialty drainage systems, electrical, gas, cable, telephone, fiber-optics, street lights, traffic signals, loop detectors, video detection, full roadway section construction including aggregate base, HMA paving, signing, striping, curb, gutter, sidewalk, American with Disability Act (ADA) and Title 24 curb ramps, soundwalls, retaining walls, parks and landscaping.  The inspector maintained daily contact with the contractors and several City departments, including the PWD staff, Utilities, Police, Fire, Refuse, and Public Relations.
