Project Overview

SAI was selected by the City of Folsom to provide construction management and inspection services for Segment D3(A). The project is located in the City of Folsom, and Sacramento County. The project limits consist of White Rock Road 0.3 miles west of Prairie City Road and 0.5 miles west of Placerville Road. • Four lane road with median and two bridges and triple 60” pipe crossing; numerous storm drain systems including manholes, inlets, FES, RCP (sizes 18” – 60”); and two detention basins with outfall structures. • Prairie City Road is reconstructed with new signals; East Bidwell Road intersection is relocated and upgraded to a new signalized intersection; and a new signalized intersection is constructed at White Rock Road / “Future” Oak Ave. • Three new metered services to be installed and coordination for activation with SMUD, Folsom Signals, County of Sacramento and Folsom Building department (tag service cabinets). • Two parallel, three-span, reinforced concrete slab bridges, each 129 feet long over Alder Creek. Bridges will be 42.5 feet wide and accommodate two lanes of one-way vehicular traffic. Construction includes deep 24-inch diameter CIDH piles (40 total) will be constructed at all support locations with rock pockets. Structure #3 consists of triple 60” RCP pipes; and other structures include detention basin reinforced.
