Project Overview

SAI provided construction inspection for this highly complex wastewater treatment plant project, which involved the tertiary and denirtification system of the new plant. The work included construction of equalization basins, aeration basins, landscaping, CMU blower and electrical buildings, headworks and barscreens, biosolid lagoons, and all underground piping and emergency generator systems. The work involved placing approximately 20,000 cubic yards of concrete, paved and rehabilitated surface streets and landscaping. The new landscaping involved two miles of 100 foot right of way planting, which included numerous trees, installation of irrigation water supply piping, drip system and hydro seeding. It also included construction of the filter complex, backwash basins, clarifier systems, chlorine contact basins, the digester complex, the headworks improvements and all underground piping.
