This project was Federally funded and was administered in accordance with Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual. Construction improvements included construction of new curb, gutter, and sidewalk, ADA ramps, replacement of 22 storm drain laterals and inlets, slurry seal and striping. Residential landscaping was also replaced as necessary, and required repairs to fencing, irrigation, vegetation, sod, mulch, and trees. Construction Administrative duties included documenting pre-construction conditions with photographs setting up project files and manage all project correspondence in VPM, chairing meetings, preparing progress payments, RFIs, submittal review and coordination, preparing change orders, review Critical Path Method Baseline and Monthly schedule updates, Weekly Statement of Working Days, and Monthly Budget Summary documenting over/under bid items. In addition, certified payroll review and labor compliance interviews were conducted. Inspection duties including preparing thorough daily reports, measuring and tracking quantities, ensure work was performed in accordance with the plans and specifications including County Standard Specifications, and coordinate material sampling and testing.
