Folsom blvd. streetscape enhancement phase 4

This project consisted of widening approximately 1 mile of Folsom Boulevard, constructing curb, gutter and separated sidewalk adjacent to Regional Transit light rail system, constructing new landscaped median with stamped colored concrete, signalized intersection modifications with new ADA compliant ramps and painted signal poles.  In addition, the work involved the installation of a storm drain system, AC pavement re-construction, AC overlay, slurry seal, decorative street lights, fencing, landscaping and irrigation systems, and traffic signage and striping.  Construction Administrative duties included following Caltrans LAPM procedures and guidelines, Virtual Project Manager, chairing meetings, preparing progress payments, RFI’s, submittal review and coordination and change orders. In addition, certified payroll review and labor compliance interviews were conducted. Inspection duties including preparing daily inspection reports, measuring and tracking quantities, coordinating with the contractor to notify residents, ensure work was performed in accordance with the plans and specifications including County and Caltrans Standard Specifications, and coordinate material sampling and testing.
