SAI provided construction management and inspection services for the City of Rancho Cordova on this safety improvement project for the Stone Creek Trail. The project included the construction of 2 signalized pedestrian crossings located on Zinfandel and Prospect Park. In addition, the trail was realigned at Zinfandel and construction of ADA compliant ramps and installation of new irrigation and landscaping at both locations. SAI also worked closely with Rancho Cordova Parks District to ensure the trail was completed per their standards. Construction Administrative duties included documenting pre-construction conditions with photographs setting up project files and manage all correspondence in the City’s document control system, Virtual Project Manager, chairing meetings, preparing progress payments including bid item quantity back up, reviewing RFI’s, submittals, change orders and project schedules, Weekly Statement of Working Days, and Monthly Budget Summary documenting over/under bid items. In addition, SAI reviewed certified payroll and performed labor compliance interviews. Inspection duties including preparing daily reports documenting manpower and equipment and work performed, measuring and tracking quantities, ensure work was performed in accordance with the plans and specifications including County and Caltrans Standard Specifications, and coordinate material sampling and testing.
